Colby has a long-standing pact with his best friend, Bev: After graduation, he’ll serve as summer roadie to her all-girl band, and then the two of them will spend the rest of the year wandering around Europe. But moments after the tour kicks off, Bev makes a shocking announcement: She’s abandoning their gap-year plans to start college in the fall. Colby is heartbroken, but the show must go on. While The Disenchantments play their tour in small towns throughout the Pacific Northwest, Colby struggles to deal with Bev’s decision, his unrequited feelings for his increasingly distant best friend, and the most important question of all: What’s next?
